This band are fantastic! They played at our wedding reception, and were one of our favourite things about the day. They learnt some of our favourite songs for the evening, which really made the evening special with a personalised touch. They were also flexible with playing times to ensure the dance floor was as packed as possible, everyone loved them! "I booked Archives for my 50th birthday party celebration based upon their set list and youTube clips. Right from my initial enquiry they were a pleasure to deal with even including a special request into their set list for the evening and allowing me to use their PA to play music form my iphone during the intermission.

The band arrived early to set up and sound check and you could tell from their equipment and how they went about setting up that they are serious and talented musicians. Once they started playing they were simply brilliant with a wide repertoire of indie/rock which went down a storm with everyone at the party. Everyone I spoke to commented how good they were and were amazed that I had managed to book such a great band. By the end of the evening everyone was up dancing and calling for more, which to be fair included and extended encore that finished on a complete high.

I would thoroughly recommend Archives to anyone who wants a talented group who know how to rock a party, they are an absolute pleasure to deal with, clearly enjoy what they do and are brilliant at it. I would gladly book them again, I just need to find the excuse."

We had Archives play at our wedding on the 4th of August... All i can say is WOW...From the moment they sent us their song list we knew they were the band for us. Such a great mix of music. They are fantastic ad their music kept all ages and music tastes on the dancefloor. They also worked very well with the DJ and were on time, friendly and set up with no fuss. For any other bride and grooms I would reccommend sending a list of songs that you would like to hear from thir list but give them licence to move them around / change order / pick other ones. Lots of songs are in different keys and use different instruments. We gave them this licence and the results spoke for themselves, the music flowed from start to finish of both sets. They will not let you down. We have had so many comments from people at the wedding asking about he band and complimenting them on their music. We hired Archives to play our wedding and we couldn't be happier with them. Before the event they were always available and happy to talk through what we wanted, and then really delivered on the day.

Due to sound restrictions at our venue, which they were more than happy to work around, they performed an acoustic set before playing a full electric set later. Both sets were fantastic and many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the band.

They also did a brilliant job of learning and performing our first dance which will stay with us forever.

Archives performed at our wedding at Lainstone House in October and they were absolutely SUPERB. Every person from the youngest through to the oldest was up dancing and the dance floor was full all night. We had so many positive comments from our guests. Thank you for being the most fantastic band for us on Friday. We absolutely loved you guys from the acoustic set during dinner, which was exactly what we wanted - Super chilled. My personal favourites were here comes the sun and Drive. My new father in law absolutely loved you guys - specifically the foo fighters tracks... We have known Archives for some time but on our wedding day they exceeded all expectation. They learnt an amusing song as a surprise for my new hubby to open the first set and smashed it. The Atmosphere as they rolled through the different covers was amazing throughout... Right up until the last dance which was a pretty emotional moment for us. The number of guests who have made a deliberate point of mentioning the band in thank you cards has been phenomenal to say nothing of the local villagers who flung open their windows and swung their pants too, according to the local FB group posts.
